We spent the weekend supporting one of V.O.A.C.'s original supporters at an event in Uwharrie National Forest.
The Overlander Project booth was busy the whole weekend and we were busy networking and promoting V.O.A.C's mission. Overlander Project is the premier North Carolina outdoor adventure company. Overlander Project shares the same cores values with V.O.A.C., making them not only the perfect supporter, but a partner in overland adventure.
We spent some time doing route recon's for future trail rides on Uwharrie OHV, Big Creek, and Grand Overland District trails. Uwharrie OHV has a new trail called Lake View Trail and you can no longer dispersed/primitive camp along some of the trails and only in designated areas.
November 11-13, 2023 is the Uwharrie Veterans Ride. Who all is in?

OHV - The Uwharrie National Forest is located in North Carolina in the Montgomery, Randolph, and Davidson Counties. The Badin Lake OHV Area offers 16 miles of trails maintained primarily for 4WD vehicle (i.e., Jeeps, etc), ATV and motorcycle use, toilets, parking areas, information boards and trash collection.
