Summer is over! A.A.R.

On July 29th, we went to the Toyota Beach Bash at Fort Fisher. The event was put on by Jamie OB OBriant from Triangle Yota Off Road group. We got to spend time with a dozen veterans from Fort Bragg who were members of the Fort Liberty/Fayetteville Yota’s group.

The weather was perfect and about 35 rigs came out to enjoy the beach life. Fellowship, making new friends and sharing experiences was the topics of discussion.

Overall a great event and we look forward to the next one.

Field Expedition #6 - NC Old Highway 105 Day Trip was a success!!! On August 19th, we headed out Thursday night to reserve the "first come, first serve" campsites along the famous NC Old Highway 105. We were able to set up on three sites that were in all in walking distance. As Friday night rolled around, several veterans started to trickle in and camped pre-event.

On Saturday, we met at Fonta Flora Brewery Rally Point for an early start. 21 rigs were ready to visit Pisgah National Forrest. We visited Wilson Creek, Coffee's General Store, Mortimer, Linville Gorge, Wiseman's View and several other POIs. Everyone had a great time and there were quits a few whom had never been to the area.

The ride ended at the top of NC Old Highway 105 at camp. Thru donations, we were able to cook dinner for the group. We cooked 30 hamburgers, 30 hotdogs and two pounds of bacon! Special thank you Steven Fry from for the killer potato salad.

After dinner, we held a raffle.

This would not have been possible without the support from all the generous people in our life, both military and civilian. Our gratitude extends to the following companies that have stepped up and supported without asking for anything in return:

New swag is up, please pre-order today to ensure that we will have the merch printed in time for Veterans Day. Due to popular demand "We the People" shirts are back!
